Taraji P. Henson says her “dreams are coming true” being a part of the upcoming musical movie ‘The Color Purple’ and working with famous stars Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg. She gathered with her castmates in London for the UK premiere of the new film where she shared how important sisterhood is and even revealed she’s known her best friend since seventh grade! 00:22 because he's married to Stephanie Allain,

00:24 who produced Hustler Float.

00:28 So you know, I sang in Hustler Float.

00:31 when the Color Purple went up,

00:35 was going into production on Broadway,

00:38 she of course spoke to her husband,

00:39 and was like, "Why don't you call Jumaane?"

00:41 And I was like, "Uh, yeah, no."

00:43 Like, singing on a rap track is a hook.

00:47 You sing it once really good, and then they loop it.

00:50 Suge, she sang gospel, she sang jazz,

00:54 and she sang blues.

00:56 Very different from a rap hook.

01:27 So I feel like, woo, my dreams are coming true.

01:42 because we are so much more powerful together.

01:48 And I have great friends in my life that I've had.
