00:12 - Yeah, is this how you feel all the time?

00:13 - Yeah, it is.

00:14 You got a great view of the horizon all over.

00:17 - Yeah. - You got it.

00:18 - So you've never had a bad view at a concert, I guess.

00:20 - No, I feel bad.

00:21 Like, I have a low-level anxiety at concerts

00:24 because I'm like, I wanna stand up,

00:26 I wanna sing every song,

00:27 but I'm gonna block five rows of people behind me.

00:32 - It's a dilemma.

00:32 - Whatever.

00:33 - Speaking of concerts,

00:34 you invited the hottest couple to your KC show.

00:37 You invited Travis and Taylor.

00:39 - I did.

00:40 - Did they come?

00:41 - What do you wish would have happened in your wild,

00:46 that they would have shown up?

00:47 - In your wildest dreams.

00:48 - Wildest dreams.

00:51 No, they did not show up.

00:52 But, you know, they were the giants,

00:55 or sorry, KC was playing the giants.

00:58 And I went to the Ares tour.

01:01 I did my due diligence.

01:03 - It's a long show.

01:04 - It was incredible.

01:05 I got so many Swifty bracelets.

01:07 - Oh, that's awesome.

01:08 - It was the best night of my life.

01:10 - Good.

01:11 - We got to share a little suite with Lil Nas X,

01:14 Maren Morris.

01:15 It was incredible.

01:17 - That is amazing.

01:18 What would a song with you, Nas, and Maren sound like?

01:20 - Oh my, like the hottest heat you've ever heard.

01:23 - Yeah.

01:24 - Period.

01:25 - Done.

01:26 - Yes.

01:27 - So I do need to ask, you have the After Party Deluxe out.

01:30 How does an After Party get even crazier?

01:32 How do you do that?

01:33 - Well, what we did is we took the hype tracks,

01:38 and we did live versions.

01:40 So they got the crowd, the energy,

01:42 so they're even more hype.

01:43 And then we took the chill, acoustic type stuff,

01:48 and we made it more chill.

01:50 You know what I mean?

01:51 - Real contrast.

01:52 - We have a slew of emotions on the After Party Deluxe.

01:56 So it's like, and it feels like, that's like a party.

01:59 You know, like when you walk in, it's all,

02:01 OMG, we're tied.

02:01 And then sometimes by the end of the night,

02:03 you're sitting around, sipping a nice whiskey

02:06 around a fire, talking about your feelings.

02:08 - That is usually what happens by the end of the night.

02:10 - You know what I'm saying?

02:11 - You make it.

02:11 - Maybe there's a tear shed.

02:13 Maybe there's a weeping and a shoulder.

02:15 If you ever need a shoulder.

02:17 - Well, I'm too tall for your shoulder now.

02:20 - Oh, okay.

02:21 You get one bone graft and you're too good for everybody.

02:26 - That's what happens.

02:27 So, best after party you've ever been to?

02:30 Do you have one?

02:31 - Yes.

02:31 - What was it?

02:32 - It was at Ronnie Dunn's house.

02:34 We were not even invited.

02:38 We hopped in the SUV with Little Big Town.

02:41 They were like, you're with us.

02:42 I was like, perfect.

02:43 Hopped in, got out.

02:46 We're in Ronnie Dunn's barn, hanging out.

02:50 My wife's doing a tequila shot with Reese Witherspoon.

02:53 I get to play Red Dirt Road with Kix Brooks

02:58 and then Ronnie Dunn comes up and starts singing.

03:00 Can you imagine this?

03:01 - This sounds like a fever dream, I can't.

03:03 - And then I'm playing drums on another.

03:05 So, Miranda Lambert's playing a Tom Petty song.

03:09 They got a little band set up.

03:11 And I'm playing drums.

03:14 Gigi Hadid is playing the bongos next to me.

03:17 Kacey Musgraves gets up and sing a song.

03:19 It was one of those nights that you're just like,

03:22 this is what this town is all about.

03:27 This is what you hear about.

03:28 So, it's crazy.

03:30 One for the history books, for sure.

03:32 - I'm gonna be thinking about that for a long time

03:34 and I wasn't even there.

03:35 - I mean, every once in a while I go back in my phone

03:38 to make sure it actually happened.

03:40 'Cause I'm like, there's no way.

03:41 I start singing Red Dirt Road

03:44 and Reese Witherspoon's right here and she's like,

03:48 you know what I mean?

03:49 And I'm like, bro, what?

03:51 It's crazy.

03:52 - It's the life you live.

03:53 - Now we're best friends.

03:54 - Wow, all right.
