Billboard went out to Santa Monica Pier to ask the public what they think the Song of the Summer will be. With Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” reigning over as No. 1 on the Hot 100, does Kendrick Lamar & SZA’s “Luther,” Drake’s “Nokia,” or Morgan Wallen stand a chance?

What do you think the Song of the Summer will be? Let us know in the comments!

00:00I feel like because there's so much going on in the world, we need to get lit.
00:03We want to be outside.
00:04Where the f*** to function?
00:06Where the f*** to function?
00:09Like Drake said, where the function?
00:12The sun's out, skin's showing, fire up the grill, it's summertime.
00:16And with summer 2025 in full effect, that means artists like Morgan Wallen,
00:21Chaperone, Dolce, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar and more are all buying for
00:26the song of the summer.
00:27The competition is tough, but Alex Warren has come out swinging with his hit, Ordinary.
00:32The track has been holding it down at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
00:43But the summer is just starting, so it's anyone's game.
00:46We headed over to Santa Monica Pier to find out what song people are feeling.
00:50So they asked me what the song in the summer is.
00:52I think I already know.
00:53Yo, kid, that's a bop right there.
00:55I love that song.
00:56Anxiety by Don't You.
00:57He's popping off right now, and she deserves it, and anxiety's fire as hell.
01:06I don't know.
01:06It's definitely a season for the pop girls still.
01:09Brad's season is not yet over.
01:11What Was That by Lorde is like the best song ever.
01:14We kissed for hours, triple baby, what was that?
01:19Definitely Mutt by Leon Thomas.
01:21Yeah, that's the song I play every single day, maybe five times a day.
01:24I'd say Show Me Love by Wisda MC.
01:42It has the summer vibe.
01:45Only time will tell what song gets to wear the song of the summer crown, but let us know what
01:55you think it is in the comments down below.
