00:00 Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has issued a warning expressing his intent to take action

00:07 against individuals who associate him with Israel.

00:11 He was responding to a report in the Haraqa newspaper which quoted PAS's Ahmad Yahya.

00:17 Anwar said in the Dewan Raqiya today, the statement by the PAS Ulama Council chief was

00:21 defamatory, shameful and contravened ethical guidelines.

00:26 He strongly refuted the allegations and stated his intent to take stern action if they are

00:31 reiterated.

00:33 In the report, Ahmad voiced concerns that the Anwar-led government is currently perceived

00:37 as expressing support for the Palestinian cause only in response to perceived threats

00:42 by certain parties and pressures from coalition party allies.

00:47 Meanwhile, Anwar expressed his commitment to helping Palestine through negotiations

00:52 and sending humanitarian aid.

00:55 Anwar also said PKR has never been a member of Liberal International, only an associate

01:01 member at the initial stage.

01:03 He said he once attended the Li Convention in Cairo, Egypt and expressed a strong stance

01:08 against injustice and raised issues related to Palestine, which was positively received

01:13 by world Muslim leaders.
