00:35 if not for a late turnover.

00:36 They did rush the football for 241 in that ball game.

00:40 They are rushing for 197 yards on the ground.

00:43 Typically, Justin Wilcox, a horrible road coach,

00:47 under 300% winning percentage in his tenure

00:50 over the last couple of years in Berkeley.

00:54 I'm not betting this game, but if I had to,

00:56 I would take the points with Cal.

00:58 - So this is a spot that Lincoln Riley's rarely been in.

01:05 Following game was against Texas.

01:07 They went in an insane overtime battle

01:10 and cross-finish line covered the number.

01:13 How comparable are the spots, right?

01:16 This is a USC team that last year had

01:19 the best player in college football

01:21 and was a win away from the college football playoff.

01:24 Injury slashed the Kryptonite,

01:26 and Utah on the other side stopped them from getting there.

01:29 And once again, Utah is going to very likely

01:32 have stopped them from getting to their ultimate goal.

01:34 While I've said USC is dead, technically,

01:36 if Caleb got on a heater

01:38 and they were two loss-packed 12 champion,

01:40 they'd have a chance at getting in.

01:42 But obviously, nobody actually thinks

01:43 they're going to be able to do that.

01:45 In fact, some of the conversation coming out of their loss

01:48 to Utah was, "Hey, do you think Caleb shuts it down?"

01:51 That would be embarrassing and unacceptable.

01:54 From all parties involved, but specifically Caleb Williams.

01:57 Look, I was one of the first people

01:59 to talk about the talent that is Caleb.

02:01 I think he's a great football player.

02:03 I think the fact that he has a foregone conclusion

02:04 to go first overall is totally fair.

02:07 Caleb Williams, the last two weeks,

02:09 has been as big of a problem for this team as anything else.

02:12 He was atrocious against Notre Dame

02:15 and left countless opportunities out there against Utah.

02:18 The fumble that cost them a touchdown

02:20 instead of how to settle for a field goal,

02:22 and two two-point conversions, they weren't able to convert.

02:25 I believe in my heart of hearts that game goes to overtime.

02:27 I think they win end cover, quite frankly, against Utah.

02:30 I do not think in that kind of overtime box

02:32 that you get put in there, USC would have been stopped

02:35 and I think Utah would have crossed the finish line.

02:38 I lean towards USC in this game.

02:40 I think they're being written off too much.

02:42 It's a gut check here.

02:43 Truly, I know that this is the type of stuff

02:45 that people don't like when NFL teams evaluate,

02:48 but if Caleb Williams goes on a two-game losing streak

02:50 and then follows it up by no-showing Cal,

02:53 that's an awful, awful look for him

02:56 and really for this USC program.
