Aired (October 15, 2023): From lechon and steamed pork with bok choy to pork ribs, Chef JR Royol shows off some of his most delicious pork-based dishes!

00:02 In the market or farm, you can surely buy pork.

00:06 And even if you go to a restaurant, a carinderia or a fast food restaurant,

00:11 you can surely find a pork dish.

00:14 In fact, for us Filipinos who love pork,

00:18 experts estimate that each Filipino consumes more than 15 kilos of pork in 2023.

00:27 It's not surprising that in Laloma, Manila,

00:30 the lechon dishes are sold out every time.

00:35 There are other versions of lechon that are trending online.

00:40 When I visited Tintano Farm in Tarlac,

00:47 I also tried to give a different taste to the lechon using a different ingredient.

00:54 We discovered something new here when we returned to Tintano Farm.

00:58 They call it "pusa-pusa".

01:01 The pork's flavor is also perfect together with the deliciousness of the other vegetables.

01:11 You can steam it with the fresh bok choy.

01:17 If you have more time, you can relax it outside or in the chiller for at least 2 hours.

01:33 But the most important thing is to dry the skin.
