I want to address all the students present here. If you want to become a student leader, first become a student. How can you become a student leader without becoming a student? Without becoming a farmer, the person who poses oneself as a farmer leader is not a farmer leader. That person is a broker from the government’s side. That person will compromise the farmer’s interest. Without being a labor a person who poses oneself as a labor leader does not represent the labor. That individual will compromise the interests of the laborers. That’s why I want to appeal to the student leaders, you can easily become a leader. But to become a student leader, you need to first become a student. And the meaning of being a student is you have some relation with your school, college or university. That you actually study. That you have an admission. That you enter your classroom. That you visit the library. That you ensure that the books relating to your subject are present in the library. If you’re a science student, you should ensure that the respective equipment is present in your laboratory. If you’re a biology student, you should know the difference between geology and botany. You should know what is the latest research being conducted in the education sector. If you don't go to college, how would you know what is being studied there? And as an NSUI national in-charge, we expect from you that only an extraordinary student can initiate a vibrant student movement. Remember our independence freedom struggle, all our national leaders were also students. They were excellent scholars. They used to study. They used to go to the classroom. They used to debate with their teachers. They used to listen to their teachers. Everyone teaches that politics is a bad thing. They say that you will never benefit from politics. So, tell me that if there would be no Savitribai Phule in the country, would there be any women scientists in ISRO?
