Linda Nolan made a special appearance at a Slimming World event in Cleveleys.

Linda, who recently announced that she has brain cancer, stopped by to 'cut the ribbon' and open the new venue on Fleetwood Road North, which is run by her friend Deborah.

In a heartwarming video, Linda jokes with slimmers at the group saying 'don't pretend you want to be here' and offers words of encouragement .

She tells The Gazette that [cancer] is scary but that 'everything feels better when the sun's shining'.
