00:00 Appendishing his nationalist credentials with the stroke of a pen.
00:05 Opposition candidate Kemal Kilec Durulu has received an endorsement from the Turkish far
00:09 right ahead of Sunday's runoff.
00:12 The move comes after he pledged to send home the nearly 4 million mainly Syrian refugees
00:17 who've been living in Turkey.
00:19 "Our project is ready to send all refugees back to their home countries without any racism.
00:25 We, the coalition leaders, made a decision, we'll send them all back to their home countries
00:30 within a maximum of two years."
00:32 Kemal Kilec Durulu's tone started to shift further to the right following President Erdogan's
00:37 strong showing in the first round of the vote.
00:40 The incumbent has been accused of airing a doctored video during campaign events linking
00:45 Kilec Durulu to the outlawed militant group the PKK.
00:50 "The opposition is campaigning hand in hand with these terrorists.
00:57 Will my nationalist citizens vote for them?"
01:02 With Turkey's presidential election in its home stretch, both candidates are leaving
01:06 nothing to chance.
01:08 President Erdogan picked up an endorsement from the third place hardline nationalist
01:12 candidate Sinan Ogan, who secured just over 5 percent of the vote.
01:17 Analysts, however, are warning that Kilec Durulu's sudden shift in rhetoric could backfire
01:22 by alienating voters he desperately needs.
01:26 He's backed by an alliance of six parties including the pro-Kurdish HDP.
01:30 But Kilec Durulu's support from the Kurdish population has been thrown into doubt after
01:35 his deal with the far-right pledged to fight terrorist organisations, including militant
01:40 group the PKK.
