What’s On: Family friendly half term events in Wales
  • last year
Half term this year is taking place from the 20th to the 24th February, so a little forward planning could always come in handy.

Museum’s all across Wales will be hosting a number of fun, free, interactive events, from learning what life was like for a roman solider in the National Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon, to balloon making and movie screenings in the Swansea waterfront museum, there’s something for everyone, whatever the weather.

Amelia Trust Farm in Barry is hosting a number of fun half term events, where little ones can build their own teddy bear, experience what its like first hand to be a farmer, watch Mr Marvel’s marvellous magic show, or just have a walk through nature and explore their woodland areas.

WWT Wetland Centre in Llanelli is hosting their own array of half term fun, with activities you can even do at home. Learn all about how to make homes for nature in your own garden, or take a senses scavenger hunt around the centre. There are also flamingo quizzes and fun craft events where you can make your own hat.
