What to do in Wales this half term
Folly Farm is opening a new exhibit just in time for half term. It’s called venoms vs poisons and teaches visitors all about the weird and wonderful world of poisonous and venomous animals, from poison dart frogs to venomous Gila monsters. It’s open throughout half term, and promises to show a side to animals you don’t always see. But don’t get too close.

Museums Wales Amgueddfa Cymru are hosting plenty of fun half term experiences for the little ones in their sites all across the country, from the Roman Legion Museum in Caerleon to the national museum in Cardiff to the waterfront museum in Swansea, wherever you are in Wales, you can be sure you’re not too far from a museum.

And finally, the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre is open throughout the half term welcoming people to explore nature and spot some truly unique creatures. They’re also hosting a number of craft events like making a Swan hat, and some fun quizzes testing what you’ve learned at the centre.
