British diving instructor, Neil Gibin, from Birmingham was found dead in Thailand's Koh Tao, often referred to as 'Death Island'. He was discovered in a rented bungalow in the small paradise island last Wednesday. He is said to have died from natural causes.

A man was arrested after being caught in the act of shining a laser pen at a police helicopter in the West Midlands - endangering the lives of the crew on board. The National Police Air Service said the culprit was now facing up to five years in jail for endangering an aircraft.
