This is the moment traffic police rescued a stranded motorcyclist - after he got stuck crossing a heavily flooded bridge. The man was trying to cross the Himayat Sagar Service road bridge in southern India when he got stranded halfway. Footage shows the man sitting on his bike and clinging to the railings while battling the gushing water. The current was extremely strong, and he was moments from being washed away, before a rescue team led by HC Baig of the Rajendranagar police station came to his rescue. His saviours arrived on a truck and carefully pulled up beside him, dragging him to safety and saving his life. They also managed to save the motorcycle using a rope tied to the back of their vehicle. Traffic police had been positioned at both ends of the bridge to stop people from crossing - but somehow the man slipped through unnoticed. The video was filmed on July 26.
