Farmers say they get no benefit from grocery price hikes

The cost of fresh produce has been skyrocketing, vegetables have jumped more than 6 per cent in the March quarter alone. But farmers say they are not benefiting from the higher prices at supermarkets and are accusing retailers of price gouging. Chairman of the farmer's horticulture committee in New South Wales Guy Gaeta says farmer's expenses continue to rise.
