Food and wine, best pizza in Canberra - Mama Dough - Video by Keegan Carroll
Transcript
00:00Hey guys, I'm Kieran Bunton and this is Mama Dough. Come on in.
00:07This is our little pizza shop here in Ainslie. These are our gluten-free doughs. We make these
00:14every day. Probably one of the only places in Canberra that actually makes those every day
00:17like that. This is Jetty, making a couple of pizzas for us. We've got our garlic pizza.
00:23What's in there? Prosciutto and Rocket. One of the faves. This is our pizza oven. It's
00:31actually pretty ridiculous how many pizzas come out of this one oven every week. It burns
00:36at 400 degrees. What's it at now Jetty? About 400 degrees. This is our pizza oven. We do
00:42about 200 pizzas out of here a day between Uber Eats and all the places you can get in
00:46our venue and the pub and upstairs in our cocktail bar. All the pizzas we make are pretty traditional.
00:51We make margarita pizza. That is definitely our biggest seller. Ham and pineapple, Prosciutto
00:55Rocket, San Daniel. It's a big one we've had for a long time. The pizza doughs that we actually
01:00make, all the buns, are made for my mother dough that we've had alive for eight years almost,
01:05which is pretty impressive. It's a real labor of love. Someone's got to come in every day
01:07and do that, even on Christmas Day, so there's no break for that. And I think that results in
01:12what I like to say is Canberra's best pizza. We're located at Ainslie Shops, next to the pub,
01:17between the pub and Pilot. Come on down, check it out.
