Lutfur Rahman wins Tower Hamlets vote after five-year ban
  • 2 years ago
Lutfur Rahman achieves his political comeback as he is announced as the new Mayor of Tower Hamlets after serving a five-year ban from holding office. Now a representative of the Aspire Party, Rahman was removed from the same position in 2015 when, as a Labour candidate, he was found guilty of vote-rigging, buying votes as well as religious intimidation.
