00:00We had an enormously challenging set of circumstances when we came into office.
00:05Now we are less than a year old as a government.
00:08Already we've done the things that get a grip on the finances
00:11and already we're doing the things that are investing into the future.
00:16We understand that despite the fact that we have the fastest growing economy in the G7
00:21that most people don't feel it in their pockets yet.
00:24We want to turn that around and what you'll see with a spending review
00:27is giving government departments the power to start doing the things
00:31that people will feel in their lives.
00:33We get it.
00:35We know there are problems and challenges facing people right around our country.
00:39We know people want change fast because they want to feel it for them,
00:42their families, their children.
00:44And we are doing the things that are going to turn that around.
00:47We're doing the fundamental things that will get growth back into our economy,
00:51create the jobs right around our country that young people will be stepping into
00:55so they can stay here and create the wealth that we need as a country and for individuals.
01:00We understand it.
01:01We know that it hasn't been felt yet.
01:04We know that we're working really hard so that people feel that difference.
01:08And that's what I'm convinced we will do on the back of this spending review
01:11and the policy decisions we've made in the last 10 months.
