The Kuala Lumpur High Court on Friday granted Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi a temporary release of his passport for him to perform Umrah in Mecca.

The court also fixed May 9 for a decision in Zahid’s application to obtain statements recorded from 15 prosecution witnesses in Zahid’s corruption case involving Yayasan Akalbudi.
