Following the story of John Eaddie, who was identified by ITV News as the first person in Britain to die of AIDS, members of his family have reached out to speak about their uncle.
Karen Legg, Mr Eaddie's niece, said she realised the story was about her uncle when she saw his death certificate shown on the news, and that the story has "helped fulfil a promise" to her father.
