According to the new rules, people who marry a woman from Jammu and Kashmir will now be able to become a native here. At the same time, their children can also become permanent residents of Kashmir.

जम्मू-कश्मीर प्रशासन (Jammu Kashmir Administration) ने लैंगिक असमानता खत्म करने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है. जम्मू-कश्मीर (Jammu Kashmir) में मूल निवासी को लेकर पहले से जारी नियमों में बड़ा बदलाव किया गया है. नए नियमों के मुताबिक, जम्मू कश्मीर की महिला से शादी करने वाले लोग भी अब यहां के मूल निवासी बन सकेंगे. वहीं, उनके बच्चे भी कश्मीर के स्थायी निवासी बन सकते हैं.
