Breaking the glass ceiling, Pooja Devi of Kathua district has become the first woman passenger bus driver in Jammu and Kashmir. Mother of three children, Pooja Devi ferried passengers on Jammu-Kathua route for the first time on Thursday. As the news spread like wildfire, pictures and videos of her driving the bus went viral on social media.

पांच साल पहले शौकिया तौर पर ड्राइविंग सीखने वाली पूजा देवी का सपना था कि वो किसी दिन बड़ी गाड़ी को चलाएं। अब उनका ये सपना पूरा हो गया। जम्मू-कश्मीर के कठुआ की रहने वाली पूजा देवी राज्य की पहली महिला बस ड्राइवर बन गईं हैं। जम्मू-कश्मीर में बस चलाकर एक महिला ने इतिहास रच दिया है। कश्मीर की पहली महिला बस ड्राइवर बनकर पूजा देवी लोगों को ये मैसेज देने में कामयाब रहीं कि महिलाएं किसी भी काम में पीछे नहीं हैं.
