Cops have taken the statements of former Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) group chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Jauhari Yahya and a woman, Tan Chai Eian, after both individuals survived a mid-air collision that led to a helicopter crash in Taman Melawati, Selangor on Sunday.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Esha told reporters at the scene on Sunday (Nov 8) and confirmed that 66-year-old Ahmad Jauhari was the pilot of the helicopter that made a rough landing at a Tamil school in Taman Melawati, while Mohamed Sabri Baharom, 56, had piloted the helicopter which crashed and killed both him and Mohd Irfan Mohamed Rawi, 44.
