A news report appeared online on June 15 alleging negligence in handling of bodies of victims died in the Ahmedabad plane crash. The report, published on June 15, claimed that two heads were found in a body bag. This necessitated a repeat of the entire DNA testing procedure, which takes around 72 hours, the report further stated. However, the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital's medical superintendent dismissed the report as "completely false". In a statement, the medical superintendent stressed that the civil hospital is handing over all the bodies to the concerned relatives with "dignity and respect".
