South Korea will partially lift its ban on visiting elders at nursing homes and hospitals starting July 1st.
Due to COVID-19, the government had imposed visiting restrictions in March... but the government announced today that it will ease that ban allowing controlled visits with prior appointments to be made at the entrance of the facility or outdoors.
Local governments can reserve the right to limit or cancel visits depending on the area's COVID-19 situation.
This comes as South Korea reported 39 new cases today, increasing the total caseload so far to 12-thousand-six-hundred-and-two.
