00:00 For those looking for a job, 100 Phinay caregivers are needed in South Korea.

00:08 Rodeline has been a caregiver in the Philippines and abroad for 5 years.

00:15 But when she got pregnant, she stopped for a year.

00:18 Now, she is hoping to work abroad again.

00:22 I have been in many cases.

00:26 I take care of the children, the elderly, and my son's education.

00:31 And our daily expenses.

00:35 She is interested in applying to South Korea.

00:39 After the Department of Migrant Workers announced that they will get 100 Phinay caregivers

00:45 to be sent to South Korea under the Pilot Foreign Caregiver Program.

00:51 Anyone can apply to take care of babies,

00:56 care for pregnant women, and take care of housework.

01:00 This is a program of the Korean government to assist their double-income families

01:11 who do not have enough support in the care for the baby or pregnant women.

01:21 The recruitment process is government-to-government.

01:24 The online registration to apply will be open from May 9 to May 10.

01:30 You can see on the website of the DMW the complete qualifications and requirements.

01:36 But the most important requirement is that the applicant is a 24 to 38-year-old woman.

01:42 She has a valid NC2 Caregiving Certificate from TESDA and knows the basic Korean language.

01:51 the Korean Visa Application Center in Manila announced that

01:54 they have been accepting applications for tourist visas via mail or courier since May 1.
