Dough-Boy is one of Hong Kong’s rising hip-hop stars. He’s worked with Asian-American rapper MC Jin, MaSiWei of Chinese trap group Higher Brothers, and Jackson Wang of K-pop act Got7. His rise to fame, however, was nearly undone at the start, when he won a huge award at Hong Kong’s Oscars.
In this episode of East Coast, we dive into the origins of Dough-Boy, going back to when he earned his first big paycheck with MC Jin and how he found his way to fame through mainland China.
