00:00 [Music] 00:08 this question that I get asked all the 00:10 time is will a new duct system eliminate 00:13 the hot and cold spots in my house the 00:17 answer to that one is twofold the main 00:20 answer is yes because we're gonna 00:22 replace the duct system and we're gonna 00:24 want to size it per the equipment per 00:26 the home in the volume of each room that 00:28 we're looking to heat and cool so we can 00:30 give you even temperatures the second 00:33 part of that answer is sometimes we 00:35 can't always access all of the ductwork 00:37 and we find that the rooms that have the 00:39 ductwork that's concealed is actually 00:40 the room that's too hot or too cold so 00:42 sometimes we have to find a fun way to 00:47 say the least to get new ductwork in 00:49 there or maybe open up some ceilings and 00:51 change that duct or whatever but usually 00:54 95% of the time if you're getting a new 00:56 duct system we're gonna have the whole 00:58 house being a single-story we'll have 01:00 the whole house within one or two 01:02 degrees of itself and if it's in a 01:03 two-story we can usually without zoning 01:06 we can usually fix some of that 01:08 temperature differential to make it 01:09 right for you 01:10 [Music]
