Good morning. Typhoon Francisco has been downgraded to a tropical depression, but the storm did bring heavy showers to Korea's central region and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province.
Gangneung and Gangwon-do Province are seeing rainfall of 20 to 40 millimeters an hour.

Parts of Gangwon-do Province are forecast to see heavy showers possibly up to 100 millimeters through this afternoon. The rest of the central region will see 5 to 40 millimeters until around noon. Southern inland regions could see passing showers as well.

A heavy rain watch is in place for parts of Gangwon-do Province, while heat wave alerts are in place for most eastern parts of the country and Jeju Island.

Western regions had a tropical night, though temperatures felt a lot more bearable compared to yesterday.

Highs in Seoul will be nearly 5 degrees lower from 37 yesterday to 32 degrees today, while southern regions will have warmer highs.

That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
