North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is less convinced Washington would take military action,... believing U.S. President Donald Trump is "different".
That's according to Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Ellen McCarthy.
In an interview with CBS News,... McCarthy said she can't pinpoint whether Kim likes or dislikes Trump,... but he may be viewing Trump differently from past American presidents.
She added that based on her team's understanding of the media and what Kim has said,... the North Korean leader believes the U.S. is looking for regime change,... but not through military action.
