Talks between the U.S. and North Korea have stalled,... but the U.S. side has reaffirmed that it's still open to negotiations.
Asked whether the U.S. will wait to hear from from the North... or act first to resume the talks,... U.S. State Department spokesperson Morgan Ortagus said Wednesday... that President Trump did recently express disappointment about North Korea but he also clearly said Washington is open to negotiations.
She said the North Korean leader had promised to both President Trump and Secretary of State Pompeo that he would denuclearize... and that negotiations are ongoing,... meaning.... Washington is willing to talk.
