Today we have a special video for all the Mothers in the world, as our Chef Archana Tai treating us with Naralachi Vadi (Coconut Barfi) with her mother for this Mother's Day.

Let's make this Mother's day special with Chef Archana Tai and her Mother who is gonna make a special recipe called Naralachi Vadi (Coconut Barfi). Which is Archana Tai's favourite, today she gonna try to make Naralachi Vadi for her mother.
If you want to make a deliciously sweet Indian mithai in minutes, then coconut burfi is one of your best options. Fresh coconut, sugar and cream flavoured with cardamom powder cooked together and set into moulds. These grainy sweet coconut squares can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
This sweet - Coconut Burfi is a classic and traditional recipe of an Indian sweet that is prepared during festivals and special occasions.

Ingredients:
1 cup Semolina
1 cup Coconut (grated)
1 cup Ghee
50 gms Khoa
1 cup Milk
1 tbsp Cardamom Powder
1 cup Almonds & Pistachios (chopped)
3 cups Sugar
Saffron
Ghee

Method: Let's start with adding Semolina in the Kadai with Coconut (grated), Ghee, Khoa, Milk, Cardamom Powder, Almonds & Pistachios (chopped). Now saute for 15 minutes on high flame, add Saffron during the process. Now add ghee to the aluminium tray (as shown in the video). Then take your mixture out in the tray and let it cool down for 2 hours. Now cut down the Vadi in shapes you like to serve and this is how you make Naralachi Vadi in this Mothers day.
