Burger King's Vegetarian
'Impossible Whopper' to Be Sold Nationwide The burger made its debut earlier this month
in a test run in St. Louis, Missouri. The fast food chain will now debut it around
the U.S. after reporting very good results. The "Impossible Whopper" would sell in around
7,300 stores in America by the end of the year. The veggie Whopper's texture stems from a burger
made by plant-based group, Impossible Foods. Not only do these burgers look like regular Whoppers, they taste like them as well. Burger King says the "Impossible Whopper" gives its customers more options that don't include meat. The move comes as the market
for plant-based protein foods
is set to expand in the coming years.
