M4.3 earthquake occurs in waters 54km northeast of Donghae in Gangwon-do Province

An earthquake of magnitude 4-point-3 has struck in waters off the east coast of South Korea's Gangwon-do Province.
The Korea Meteorological Agency says the quake occurred at 11:16 AM Korea time... in waters 54 kilometers northeast of the city.
Residents in the region reportedly felt tremors,... but there appears to be no damage.
The weather agency is looking into what caused the quake.
