Southern California remains on edge,... as a series of aftershocks continue to rattle the region following a seven-point-one-magnitude earthquake that struck outside the city of Ridgecrest on Friday.
Three quakes of magnitude 5 or higher occurred within the first hour of the main earthquake,... and experts say residents can expect aftershocks of up to magnitude 6.
Friday's quake was the strongest tremor that the region has experienced in nearly two decades.
It came after a six-point-four magnitude quake hit the area on Thursday, cutting off power in the region.
Scientists say there have been more than 14-hundred aftershocks.
