Five CISF personnel have been arrested for firing at protesters in Baramullah area. One protestor was killed and 2 were injured in the firing. Around 500 people were staging a demonstration outside a power plant, demanding regular electricity supply, when the police personnel opened fire at them to disperse the crowd. Omar Abdullah has stoked the AFSPA fire by making clear that the CISF personnel won't get cover under the protection law.
