The two Koreas are holding a second meeting of their joint roads research group at the liaison office next Monday.
Seoul's unification ministry says the group will discuss schedules for inspecting roads along the east coast.
South and North's land ministries are sending a five-member delegation and an eight-member delegation respectively.
The group's first meeting was held in mid-August.
They then conducted a week-long inspection of western roads... between the North Korean cities of Gaeseong and Pyeongyang.
At the high-level talks last month, the two sides agreed to hold a ground-breaking ceremony for connecting and modernizing railways and roads late this month or early next month.
But railways inspections are being delayed due to concerns over sanctions violations.
Seoul plans to consult closely with Washington and UN Command on the matter.
