Two Koreas to start joint road inspections next Monday

South and North Korea will start their joint road inspections next Monday -- three days later than initially scheduled.
The inspections were supposed to get underway today... with roughly 30 South Korean officials and experts planning to cross the border this morning.
But Pyongyang suggested a delay late Thursday night,... without giving a clear reason... and the two agreed to start the inspections next week.
The two Koreas will inspect the Gyeongui Road.... that runs along the west coast and then check the Donghae Road along the east coast.
The two sides agreed during talks in June.... to modernize the sections between the North Korean cities of Kaesong and Pyongyang... as well as the west coast road between South Korea's Goseong and North Korea's Wonsan .
