The UN Security Council's North Korea sanctions committee confirmed... that it has approved a sanctions waiver for the two Koreas' joint railway inspections.
The Voice of America reported on Tuesday that... the committee did so through a written procedure,... and that it doesn't plan to disclose the relevant documents showing its approval.
Meanwhile, Seoul's unification ministry says... it has proposed the inspections schedule to Pyeongyang through the joint liaison office on Monday,... but has yet to receive a response.
Seoul says... the inspections are likely to start as early as this week... and is reportedly consulting with the UN Command on relevant details.
