CBI Vs CBI: CVC's deadline to probe charges ends on Monday

CVC probe into corruption charges against CBI's top 2 officials is likely to meet November 12 deadline set by the apex court. The enquiry report has to be submitted to the Supreme Court for the next hearing of petitions by Verma and NGO. Meanwhile, CBI director Alok Verma appeared before the central vigilance commission on Thursday. But the meeting of the enquiry committee was postponed to Friday due to the non-availability of one of the vigilance commissioners.
