South Korea dispatches military transport plane for its nationals in typhoon-hit Saipan

Let's start in typhoon-hit Saipan.
Efforts are underway to bring home the roughly 18-hundred South Korean tourists stranded on the Western Pacific island since the mega storm hit on Wednesday.
The South Korean government says it dispatched a military transport plane to Saipan on Saturday morning to help its nationals who haven't been able to get home since Typhoon Yutu swept the island this week.
As the plane can only carry around 110 people at a time to Guam, where South Korea's flagship airlines operate direct flight services,… the government plans to provide additional transport measures depending on the situation on the ground.
The government is also sending a rapid response team for the supply of emergency aid materials and other necessary operations for South Koreans on the island.
