The nuclear envoys of South Korea and China met in Beijing on Monday to discuss denuclearization and ways to establish lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Lee Do-hoon,... Seoul's representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs,... and his Chinese counterpart, Kong Xuanyou..., reaffirmed their goal of Pyongyang's complete denuclearization and permanent peace -- as promised by the North during its summits with South Korea and the U.S.
Separately, in a media interview,... Seoul's representative mentioned that other pending issues were brought up,... including... formally ending the Korean War.
He added that Seoul and Beijing's views overlap considerably when it comes to North Korea issues.
