South Korea's top nuclear envoy, Lee Do-hoon is on his way to Moscow for talks with his Russian counterpart about North Korea's denuclearization.
He'll be sitting down on Friday with Igor Morgulov, Russia's deputy foreign minister.
He'll also attend the 2019 Moscow Nonproliferation Conference, which kicks off on Thursday, and he is likely to meet North Korean diplomat Jo Chol-su and U.S. special envoy Mark Lambert during his stay.
Meanwhile, the Chinese foreign ministry said today that South Korea's Ambassador to China Jang Ha-sung met Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Luo Zhaohui on Tuesday in Beijing.
No specific details of the discussion have been revealed, but there is speculation the two may have discussed a possible visit to Seoul by Chinese President Xi Jinping later this year.
