There are just two days left before the Karnataka election campaigning ends, and Congress and BJP are fighting hard. PM Narendra Modi attended a rally in Bengaluru as his supporters called for change following years of Congress rule. In 2013, BJP and Karnataka’s state party JDS got 40 seats each, while Congress won 122 seats. This 2018 election is seen as a major stepping stone for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Party leaders Modi and Rahul Gandhi have visited Karnataka repeatedly over the past months.
