Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi are in Karnataka to campaign for their respective parties

Modi has begun his second round of campaigning in poll-bound Karnataka today with a rally in Kalaburagi. PM Modi will also address rallies in Bellary and Bengaluru later today. Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally at Aurad in Karnataka attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in battleground Karnataka over his failure to fulfill his poll promises. Congress President Rahul Gandhi said there should be “truth and there should be weight” in the Prime Ministers words. Mr. Gandhi was He also said that Modi had little to speak about Karnataka, its farmers and youths, and therefore the Prime Minister was resorting to personal attacks on him. Rahul Gandhi will also hold corner meetings in Bhalki and Humnabad in Bidar district later today. Polling for the 224-member Assembly will be held on May 12. Election results will be declared on the 15th of this month
