Auto Expo 2018: Tata Nexon AMT unveiled. The new Tata Nexon AMT is expected to be launched in a couple of months with prices expected to be around Rs 30,000 more than the manual versions. The Tata Motors Nexon AMT will rival the likes of the Ford EcoSport with the automatic gearbox and the Mahindra TUV300 AMT. The new Tata Nexon features the same petrol and diesel engines found in the manual gearbox versions of the compact SUV. The 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine produces 108bhp @ 5,000rpm and 170Nm of torque @ 1,750rpm. The 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine cranks out 108bhp @ 3,750rpm and 260 Nm of torque @ 1,500 rpm.
