00:00 Welcome to Drivespark, my name is Vedant Johari and the Tata Nexon EV has been launched at

00:10 an introductory price of Rs. 14.74 lakhs.

00:20 Starting off with the front end of the car, you get this all new feature that's a DRL

00:24 that spans throughout the whole front end of the EV.

00:28 Also it gets an updated design on the grille, it gets these angular cutouts for the fog

00:33 lamps.

00:34 As we come to the side, we see these aero wheels featured on the car which gives a really

00:40 nice sporty look to it.

00:42 Also it gets the EV badging on the side and it gets black cladding throughout the side

00:47 of the car.

00:48 It gets black cladding below the door frame on the door, it also gets it along the window

00:54 trims, it gets a teal tone finish, a white and a blue.

00:58 Also as we move to the rear end of the car, we feature a similar design right behind the

01:03 front, the brake light that spans from the right to the left giving it a very nice and

01:08 a very futuristic design.

01:10 Also it gets the Nexon EV badging at the back and this is the creative model.

01:16 It comes in two models, the creative and the empowered and the empowered comes with disc

01:21 brakes in the front and the back and the creative comes with drum brakes at the back and disc

01:24 brakes in the front.

01:25 We hit an option of getting disc brakes in the rear as well.

01:29 On top of the car we get roof rails and we get a shark fin antenna.

01:33 Also the rear spoiler gets a teal tone finish and it has a very very very nice standout

01:41 and it is a very nice feature that they've incorporated on the Neon Nexon EV.

01:46 So now as we move into the interior of the car, we see a really nice teal tone finish

01:51 of a black and a white spanning throughout the vehicle.

01:54 As we sit in, we get a really really really classy feel, a very luxurious feel inside

02:00 the Nexon EV with a really nice feeling gear lever with the reverse neutral and drive settings.

02:08 So in the Nexon EV we get piano black inserts in quite a few areas such as over here near

02:13 the gear lever and on the steering wheel we get this empty sort of thing but it actually

02:20 lights up and will hit the Tata logo once the car is started.

02:24 That is a really really cool feature.

02:26 Also it gets Harman Kardon infotainment system with JBL speakers and throughout the car,

02:32 as mentioned earlier, it gets a nice black and white teal tone finish and on the seats

02:36 we get this really nice dotted pattern, just stands out and really contrasts with the rest

02:42 of the seat as you can see.

02:43 At the rear also we get the same design features such as the dotted design with the black and

02:49 that strip of white at the top of the seat.

02:52 So also near the gear lever we get the drive selector, city, eco and sport mode and the

02:56 car is available, can be driven in these three modes.

03:00 Eco being the most comfortable for the battery, giving the longest range, city being a little

03:04 more powerful than that and sport being I mean ideally the sportiest setting of the

03:08 vehicle.

03:10 So the Nexon EV, the long range version of the Nexon EV gets a battery pack of 40.5 kW

03:16 while the medium range gets a battery pack of 30 kW.

03:19 The long range version gets a 106.4 kW of power while the medium range gets 90.5 kW

03:26 of power but both of them put out 215 Nm of torque regardless whether you have the medium

03:33 range or the long range.
