Guatemala's Volcan de Fuego Erupts for First Time in 2018

Guatemala’s Volcan de Fuego, or Volcano of Fire, started to erupt on February 1, the active volcano’s first eruption of 2018.The volcano spewed columns of smoke that reached nearly 22,966 feet, according to the National Institute for Seismology, Vulcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology of Guatemala.
