A 12-mile-long ice jam on the Connecticut River threatened to cause flooding and ice-related damage in mid-January, and prompted officials in Haddam, Connecticut, to declare an “emergency condition” on January 17.This drone video, shot on January 16, shows the ice jam at Middletown and East Haddam in Connecticut.
