Tropical Storm Kai-Tek Floods Streets Outside Boracay Hotel

Heavy rains hit central Philippines’ Aklan province as Tropical Depression Kai-tak, locally known as Urduja, made landfall for the fourth time on Sunday, December 17, Rappler reported.This video is described as showing the flooded streets outside of a hotel in Boracay, a small island in Aklan province.Tropical cyclone signal number 1 was raised in Aklan, as well as nearby provinces Romblon, Palawan, southern Mindoro and northern Antique, as the storm caused flooding and landslides and led to at least three deaths.The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the storm packed maximum sustained winds of up to 45 kph north-northwest of Palawan as of 10 am December 18.
