Netanyahu and Modi Paddle in Water, Ride Beach Buggy During Trip to Desalination Plant

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, took off their footwear and walked in the water during a visit to a desalination plant on the final day of Modi’s visit to Israel on July 6.The pair also rode in a beach vehicle.India and Israel reportedly signed an agreement on desalination when Israeli President Reuven Rivlin was in India last year.During the event on July 6, Netanyahu, Modi, and a number of others drank water that had been desalinated.The two men also flew by helicopter to Haifa, where they visited the British cemetery in which Indian soldiers killed in World War I are buried, according to reports.
